Wedding in a Florence Villa, Tuscany
Nadine and Sami got married on a stunning mid-summer afternoon and they chose a rustic chic theme that matched perfectly with the natural beauty of the Villa and the hills around Florence. Flowing white veils covered the ceremony area, the sun, the breeze and the lush greenery all around made the atmosphere magic. Roses, peonies and hydrangeas made the air perfumed and sweet...everything was simply perfect.
After the “I Do” the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed drinks and finger food admiring the Tuscan sunset on the villa’s terrace... no need to say that it was a marvelous moment! A wooden stage was built to host the dinner in the lowest garden of the venue, a tailor-made project that required the hard work of a team of professional carpenters and technicians. The couple really wanted their wedding to be as “family-oriented” as possible, that’s why we recommended big imperial wooden tables for the guests to sit at and appetizers served on plates to be shared. The tables were adorned with aromatic herbs, hydrangeas, blush roses and blue campanulas. Candles and golden candelabras illuminate the Tuscan night, the skyline of Florence in the background contributed to make the atmosphere really fairytale. Tuna tartare with goat cheese, Salmon tartare with avocado, small Burrata from Andria with yellow, green and red tomatoes, Cinta Senese and Tuscan Salami were some of the delicious appetizers, followed by Agnolottini all’Albese with black truffle (a sort of ravioli filled with roast beef sauce) and creamy Carnaroli risotto with Sorrento lemon and lobster. Chianina beef and sea bass en Papillote completed the rich menu and 3 different sorbets were served in the end: grape and Grappa drops, green Apple and Calvadòs, lavender and citrus. The wedding cake table was filled with more than a treat: the naked cake was surrounded by fruits and mignon cakes, beautiful to see and delicious to eat! We obviously never forget the importance of entertainment! A live Band made everybody dance and sing during and after dinner and the DJ and bartenders transformed the internal hall of the villa into the coolest club ever!
